Jay is an avid griller and over-all experimental home cook. While originally from the New England region, he moved south in 2003. During his youth he had the luxury of having his Grandfather being the executive chef at Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI. Since moving south, he has gained a great amount of respect for BBQ, grilling just about anything and everything. He enjoys not only cooking for friends and family, but getting the most simple ingredients to shine creatively.
